What is Job card?

A job card is production document, describe schedules and planning of each process as appropriate product and as per customer requirements according to customer provided schedule. Where all the machinery, equipment, manpower and time are planning and schedules of production for particular customer's order.

Who prepared Job card?

Job card prepared by production planning department, to communicate with marketing department where all the technical terms, customer specific requirements and special characteristics are involved to evaluate job card for producing materials. Production planning department is responsible for job scheduling and planning for each product expected by customers in time frame should be manage in manufacturing facility.

Job card in manufacturing

Job card describe planning and schedule of specific product, where raw materials to finish product (first process to last process) i.e. planning of all processes and resources for particular product produce in manufacturing facility. The document describes each machinery, equipment, manpower, time setup, etc... as well as which product will be produce at which machinery and who will perform task are involved, the schedule of each product and machinery are also managed and describe in job card. Production line description section, describe which production line will be used for producing materials for particular product, what resources are used of production department.
Time section is very specific requirements, all the jobs should be maintained its job schedules as start time, end time and total time for particular job are mentioned by production planning department as instructions to perform task.
In the location name, is describe the details of specific location name where this job task will perform.
