Full body harness inspection form

As per OHSAS 18001 – Health and safety concern requirements, full body harness inspection is necessary part that needs to compliance, full body harness is the equipment that used for the safety purpose, for the maintain safety in the company, some high risk area like working on height, areas that unbalance and possibility of the fall down are very strictly required the safety equipment.

As given above eight different parts of the body harness can defined in four major parts first as below:

Hardware = inspection for D-rings, buckles, keepers and back pads.

What inspect?

–         Check Damages is on above given hardware?

–         Check Distortions

–         Check sharpness, edges, burrs, corrosions on parts, burrs on parts

On Webbing, stitching and labels can covered for inspection – check for cuts, burns, tears, discoloration, excessive soils and abrasions on webbing. Check on stitching for pulsed or cuts. Check on labels are securely held, marking on levels etc..
