Equipment record form

Equipment / devices/ instrument records are very important with all concern information are need to records for the effective and accurate used at time of requirements in quality checking / inspection or any others.

When the equipment / devices are used for the quality checking that need to perfect and accuracy to ensure the results is acceptable given by instrument / equipment or device, for the recording purpose basic required information is given below:

1. Identification number – each equipment / device / instrument having unique identification number that need to fill up in the format, this identification number is generate form the manufacturers, each number is individual used for the equipment.
2. Serial numbers – as the same of identification number is generated by manufacturing company. Serial number is can be different than identification, some serial number and identification numbers are unique are different.
3. Ranged to be used – Equipment, instrument range are used for the quality measuring purpose, when the equipment range is note that quality engineers can easier for identify the equipment / instrument, reason is the measuring devices are very similar type show as visually, on base of the identification against ranged are identify the useful device.
4. Least count – least count is used for measuring minimum counting ability of the equipment / device, this least count figure is very useful for the engineering people who can ensure the devices capability.
5. Accuracy – during the calibration, accuracy are measure to verify as per equipment / instrument measurement requirements.
6. Location – currently this equipment / instrument or device is in used with above identification number is records are maintained.
7. Frequency – what is the frequency of the calibration of equipment, this frequency are show the verification of the equipment / instrument’s calibration date for ensure the equipment are possibility of used.
8. Allowable variation – during the calibration and equipment / instrument measuring capability how much variation are acceptable, like weight machine are taking the ton of material that grams variation are acceptable in that case.
