Employee Review process – Human resources
Employee review process or employee evaluation is conducted to analysis activities, performance and behavior of employee at work place.
Employee evaluation / appraisal or review process is conducted for analysis of employee activities in the workplace, on works and performance on task on base of the history and current situations, assigned all task are considered for the evaluation, performance on the task with decision making and discipline in the company are major factors or points which are considered for process. Human resources department is owner of the process that all the concern performance, records and employee concern decisions and reporting facilities are provided to management. Employee review procedures is the simple process that conducting employee’s all activities review and actions for the improvement individual as well as for company benefits. Employee reviews are conducted on base of the some basis factors, some factors are as below:
Employee Job Time
For conducting employee review, there is necessary to consider the time period of the employee, very first need to consider joining date of the employee, mostly in companies employee’s first six months are considered as the probation period where company provides training to employee concern works, policy and workplace system to managing and proper train to employee for the regular works, so its need to consider time frame which employee stayed in the company.
Job Duties and responsibilities
In the employee review, most important is employee is responsible for its job duties and its responsibilities, all the assigned works should be accountable and proper reporting to management, so the job duties, responsibilities and accountability are on major factors or part of the review and most the part of the reviews are on top are mentioned to given proper judge of works and reviews which is conducted.
Task Familiar
During the employee review, team is considering the tasks and its familiarity of employee which is given by management, task familiar is advantage for employee, all the concern responsibilities and duties are as operating by employee for the completion of task and compliance level will be maximum, if employee understand task requirements, sources and concern activities.
Goal & Achievements
Employee review or evaluation team is considered basic requirement of the task is goal and achievements, when management assigned any task that needs to complete it in the time frame with expected achievements and goals which is defined by management for the employee for particular task, analysis team concentrate on all the targeted levels and how much employee achieved in time frame are considered as the level for employee and reviews are conducted for the same.
Employee Discipline
On of the most important point and subject to company policy, Regulations and conditions for the employee to stay in working environment by its behavior and maintaining discipline in the company. Management is always expecting from their employee to always commit for the company defined rules and regulation for maintaining reputation of company against the visitors and third parties, hence employee also responsible & accountable for the maintaining company’s policy during the complete any task or working in company.
Observations and analysis
Employee reviews process is base on the documents, behavior, records and observations of the team by analysis of the full information and data which is collected during the observations, on base of analysis team is decided for the review analysis and results for the reporting to management of the conclusion of the full analysis and reviews of the employee activities. During the team observations, collection of records and information is analyzed by the team together; identify the strengths, weakness, achievements and characteristics to finalize the reporting for the individual as well as company improvement for the policies, duties assignment and other factors which is directly concern with employee.
Employee Review notes and reporting
Employee review / evaluation team is conducting all information from the workplace, from supervisors, and from other sources and preparing employee review and results of the whole review with employee’s manager for the finalize reporting of the evaluation of employee individual. Human resources’ all the decisions, improvement planning and other programs are depends or part of impacts are from employee review notes that is very important that whole report should be clear and natural to correct decisions are made. Employee review notes is simple reporting format which having the major elements are reviews points and goals which is defined for the reviews and internally assigned by management including works and workplace. Employee review notes given the results or reporting of the analysis is made by department manager with employee review team.
